Kryssi’s Destiny: Medic Levels 1-3

Now that I’ve created my Medic, I am ready to play.  I am awake and on the Arkship Destiny. Before I am permitted entrance, I am subjected to a vigorous interrogation via an invasive brain scan.  I have answered these questions every which way I can think, yet I am always accepted, so I am beginning to wonder just how choosy the Dominion really are.

I Understand

I understand, but even if i didn’t, it’s OK.

It's OK, we will accept you either way

We will accept you either way, we’re not too choosy.

Resonators!

Once I pass the test, I get to subject others to vigorous interrogation and force them into the brain scan until I have discovered the spy, who gets what he deserves. Even though the ability, Discharge, is on my action bar, I can’t use it until I’ve received my weapon. No worries though, these quests we are given prior to getting our weapon don’t require combat, so we’re all good.

Soon, I am directed toward Mondo Zax, for more testing on the traitors, and then to speak with Minion Togor, who gives me my weapon, which for the Medic are the awesome Resonators! I get to test my weapons on some easy targets before moving on to another part of the ship, The Cathedral of Light.

Inside the Cathedral is the Hall of the Vigilant, where I get my first Settler mission.  I must collect Participation Cards and build a Vigilant Choir.  The materials are lying around the area, and I simply collect them.  I then visit the Settler depot, which is also very conveniently located, and build the choir by clicking on the depot.

After leaving the Cathedral I head over to the Imperial Museum, where I meet Artemis Zin and learn some lore.  I eventually learn of the Nexus Project, then am directed to start my combat training.

At this point I visit various training rooms full of holographic Exile scum and practice both my combat abilities and my Settler collecting and buildiing abilities. After visiting the various rooms, I am given the final challenge.  I must defeat Commander Durek Stonebreaker.  Once that’s accomplished I am considered worthy to leave the Destiny and head to Nexus.

The Destiny experience is an awesome tutorial area.  It’s full of lore and key characters and gives us the chance to learn our basic path skills, basic combat skills and other basic questing abilities.  It definitely prepares us for landing on Nexus and moving on to the next steps of our journey.

Next up for Kryssi: Jagged Cove.  See you soon!
